Advancing the Conversation of Jesus
GOT A MINUTE?
Simple doesn’t mean to short-circuit anything. It’s not a matter of lessening your life experience in any way. To me, ‘being simple’ has to do simple-mindedness…a focus on the best things that produce the best life!
We are working hard to make some definitive changes on our approach. It’s STOP, START, and CHANGE. I’m going to stop doing the JESUS MINUTE 7 days per week and pulling it back into 5 days per week again. We want to start producing lots of videos to communicate in a more creative way. We’re seeking to change our basic channel of communication to be delivered through the new APP’s, such as JESUS CONVERSATION. We are doing all we can do to make our delivery system about Jesus and the Kingdom more accessible to everyone!Luke leads the way in simplicity in his writings of the book of Acts. The simple message is Jesus and the Kingdom. He sets it up in the first chapter: To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period offorty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. (Acts 1) Jesus and the Kingdom.
In Acts 8, Luke shares the message and approach of Philip: But when they believed Philip preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being baptized, men and women alike.(Acts 8) Jesus and the Kingdom.
Then, in the last chapter of Acts, Luke describes Paul’s message while he was in Rome. When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening. Luke sums up Paul’s practice and teaching a little later. And he stayed two full yearsin his own rented quarters and was welcoming all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christwith all openness, unhindered. (Acts 28) There it is again…Jesus and the Kingdom!
GO FOR IT IN 2019…Simplify your focus and your walk with Jesus by starting with yourself!
