Advancing the Conversation of Jesus
1:00am Friday, Uganda and we are almost there. Already enough experiences to make the trip worth while. Keep in mind, we started our adventure Wed.
Started off with prayers at home for all of you, us, all our kids, and yes of course Mollie. I miss her already.
At Bradley int lax learned our plane with KLM had been cancelled. So instead of Lax to Amsterdam, to Uganda, we are still flying with Ethiopian airlines in which we ended up going to Dublin( I love the green) then to Addis Ethiopia for a three hour layover(where we met and visited with wonderful new friends) and now to Entebbe, Uganda.
Tomorrow the conference of many mentors from many countries starts. Fortunately Tim’s keynote starts on Sat and my little part that afternoon.
All is wonderful and we got a lot of sleep on all our flights. Thank you Ethiopian airlines for having seats that go totally flat into a bed.
Tim reminded me that every ‘hiccup’ that seems like a tragedy and huge inconvenience ,only prepares us for what God has for us to share with these dear people.
We love you and thank you for you sweet prayers.
(Just a fun note! Getting packed for this trip is one of the worst I can remember. Don’t know why!But as our driver to Lax was already waiting in front of our home, I decided to make one more dive into my suitcase. My freshly pointed manicured nails went right through and punctured our precious Baggie that contained what was to be our protein powder for survival.
Need I say more? Our first few days, we will be looking a bit dusty.
